My responsibilities as Assistant Editor during Caulipower’s newest campaign were assisting in the completion of the casting & wardrobe decks, cutting down auditions for review, prepared hard drives for set as well as ensured the proper archival of footage once returned, completed the wrap sheet, assisted in the completion of the traffic sheet for the project after delivery, also working on animating the faces of the Cauliflowers for the “CauliChoir” pitched spot. As well as ran SD/C-Flash/C-Fast cards, prepared colour gels, and set up/breakdown lights. And D.I.T Assistant, in which I backed up any incoming footage or photos to 2 separate hard drives using programs such as Hedge/Offshoot, Parashoot, and Forklift, prepared project assets (using Adobe Media Encoder to create proxies) for immediate use for the editors, and prepared all project assets to be archived.
We had to puppet each Cauliflower in separate takes and comp it into one scene, AND We also sung Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture”
